Sarisha: Assam Handwoven Cotton
By Assam Weavers Nest
Saree Story
Green settles onto me the way a field settles before it decides what to grow. Yellow blooms break across my pallu like mustard across an open field. Pink borders fence the wild flowers in. Tassels fall red and yellow at my hem. I am Sarisha, woven for the fields that turn gold without asking permission.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
An Assam handwoven cotton saree in sage green. Yellow floral kalka motifs sit within pink diamond-trimmed borders repeated across the pallu, with scattered pink and yellow buttis through the body. A striped pink, yellow and lilac selvedge edged with a leaf-trim border runs the length of the drape, closing in a red and yellow tassel fringe.

Care Instructions
Hand wash separately in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods. Do Not: Use bleach, harsh detergents, or wring the saree aggressively, as fine-count cotton fibres deserve gentle handling.
