Angaar: Handwoven Assam Cotton
By Assam Weavers Nest
Saree Story
Black holds its ground till the pallu catches fire, magenta and orange diamonds stacking like embers. Sparks of pink and orange scatter across me. I am Angaar, woven for the ones who carry their own glow in the dark.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
An Assam handwoven cotton saree in black. The pallu breaks into a dense magenta and orange geometric diamond weave, framed by an orange-striped selvedge. Scattered pink and orange square butis dot the body, closing in a mixed magenta-orange tassel fringe.
