Shabnam: Charcoal Blue 3 Ply Bishnupur Pure Silk
By Bishnupur's Master Weavers
Saree Story
They named me for the dew, the thing that arrives overnight and asks nothing in return. My paisleys start small, barely there, then gather with quiet certainty until they're impossible to miss by the time they reach my pallu. I don't need heat or noise to make an impression. I simply settle, softly, and stay long enough to be noticed. Wear me on a morning you want to feel a little untouched by the day ahead.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Shabnam settles the way morning dew does, quiet, unannounced, gone before anyone quite catches how it got there. Her charcoal blue carries small ivory paisleys scattered lightly across the body, growing fuller and closer together as they move toward the pallu, until they gather into a whole trail of paisley and blossom. Pure Bishnupuri silk, soft and lightweight against the skin, hand block printed rather than woven, each motif pressed on by hand rather than repeated by machine. One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
