Pallavi: Pure Silk Parrot Green Benarasi
By Naushad Ji
Saree Story
Call me Pallavi, spring never really left once it found me. My body stays a bright, unapologetic parrot green, scattered with small gold butis that catch the light like the season's first buds. I do not need much else to make my point, a saree this alive rarely does. My border is where I let myself go further, a wide band of gold scallops and florals that curls along my edge like something still growing. The same border returns at my pallu, generous and sure of itself, closing the story the way spring always does, in full bloom.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Pallavi is a pure silk Banarasi in vivid parrot green, her body scattered with small gold leaf-shaped butis in a soft, even rhythm. Her border runs wide and detailed, a scalloped gold design layered with florals and vine work that gives real weight to the edge without overwhelming the body. The same rich border carries into the pallu, keeping the saree grounded in its own vivid, spring-fresh identity from end to end.

Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
