Ambara: Sea Foam Handwoven Jamdani
By Phulia's Padma Shri Cluster
Saree Story
Ambara's Story: They named me Ambara, for the sky. But I settled somewhere closer to the sea, in that pale green blue that foam leaves behind. My ferns climb steady, unhurried, held together by a thread of deep teal that runs through me like a quiet spine. Even my buttis catch the light the way foam does, white and scattered, an ethereal beauty about it. Wear me on a day you want room to breathe.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Ambara takes her name from the sky, but her colour comes from where the sky meets the sea, a pastel sea foam that sits somewhere between air and water. Ivory ferns climb her border in even rows, each held by a slim spine of deep teal, while white resham buttis scatter across the body like foam settling after a wave. A gold checked pallu closes her, warm against the cool of the field. Pure cotton muslin, fine enough to move like air, woven on the looms of Phulia. Easy to drape, easy to live in, made for the hours between morning and everything after. One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
