Panna: Green Handwoven Muslin Jamdani
By Phulia's Padma Shri Cluster
Saree Story
Gold leaves crowd across me like they're competing for attention, white flowers interrupting mid-argument, mustard centres refusing to apologise for any of it. Panna, they call me, the same stone Maharanis once wore when quiet elegance needed a little edge. Handwoven muslin, unreasonably patient work for something this alive. Green is supposed to be the calm colour. I prefer mine with a little chutzpah attached.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Panna doesn't do restraint, and honestly, why should an emerald. Gold leaves shine across her in generous clusters, white flowers opening wherever there's room to breathe, mustard centres catching light like they know exactly what they're doing. A fine gold-and-white striped border keeps the whole thing anchored, though anchored is an understatement for something this alive. This is green with ambition. Pure muslin, unblended, handwoven by an award-winning Phulia cluster, patient work that shows in every leaf that had to be placed rather than printed. One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
