Nilamani: Royal Blue Handwoven Jamdani
By Phulia's Padma Shri Cluster
Saree Story
Nilamani's Story: Royal blue has never once apologised for taking up space, and I inherited that particular trait early. My leaves circle into wreaths like they're throwing themselves a small parade, gold and pink flowers standing in the middle, clearly the guest of honour. Pure muslin, handwoven, patient in ways that have nothing to do with being quiet. Someone once told me blue was supposed to be calming. Clearly they hadn't met me yet.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Royal blue doesn't ask for permission, and neither do the wreaths climbing across Nilamani's body, white leaves circling into perfect medallions, hot pink and gold flowers sitting at the centre like something caught applauding itself. Small cross-shaped butti scatter through the rest of the cloth, and a fine pinstripe border keeps the whole thing from getting away with too much. This is not a saree that blends into a gathering. It arrives at one. Pure muslin, unblended, handwoven by an award-winning Phulia cluster. Easy to drape, easy to live in, made for the days you want to be found in a crowd, not lost in one. One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
