Neelanjalai: 100 count Phulia Cotton
By Phulia's Padma Shri Cluster
Saree Story
I've never needed to raise my voice to be noticed. Lavender is my resting mood, easy and unbothered, the kind of calm that doesn't perform for anyone. But give me a shoulder to fall from and watch what happens; I let the indigo out. It's been there all along, waiting at my edge for a reason to show itself fully. I'm not moody, I just contain more than one colour can hold. Wear me on a day you want to feel both soft and certain.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
A handwoven cotton saree in lavender with fine navy stripes, opening into an indigo-blue pallu bordered by a navy diamond-trim resham band. Tassels close lavender on the body, indigo on the pallu. Made in fine 100-count cotton from Phulia, she drapes softly and wears through the day without effort.
Weaver
Days to make the saree
Every 100-count Phulia cotton saree takes around 8–12 days to complete. Fine cotton yarns demand patience at every stage—from preparing the warp to weaving each delicate pick by hand. What appears effortless when draped is the result of more than a week's work by artisans whose families have perfected this craft over generations.

Fabric
Crafted from fine 100-count cotton yarn, prized for its exceptional softness, airy drape and feather-light feel. The finer the count, the finer the yarn—creating a fabric that is breathable without feeling coarse, with a graceful fall that only improves with every wash.
Technique
Saree with Blouse Piece
This saree does not come with a blouse piece. We recommend pairing it with a sleeveless or short-sleeved blouse in magenta to echo the pallu or natural off-white to let the resham border carry the saree fully.
