Saree Story
Pink is my beginning, bright and unapologetic, the kind that announces itself before you've even noticed the rest of me. Down my length run fine pinstripes of gold, straight and steady, like something counted out one by one. Have you ever seen a border refuse to pick just one colour? Mine does, green rising into a temple edge, purple settling in beside it, and then orange arriving like it always belonged there. Gold motifs run through every band, never letting one colour go unmarked. My weaver built me for contrast, not caution, layering hue upon hue until the border became a small celebration of its own. I am Manjari, named for the way a cluster of blossoms holds many colours at once, exactly as I do

A pure handwoven Kanchipuram cotton in a vivid magenta pink canvas, ruled through with fine gold pinstripes running the length of the body. The border layers deep purple, bottle green and bright orange, worked with a temple edge and gold motifs throughout. Comes with blouse piece.

Care Instructions
First Wash: Dry clean for the first wash to preserve the finish and the zari or resham border. Thereafter: Hand wash separately in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods. Do Not: Use bleach, harsh detergents, or wring the saree aggressively, as fine-count cotton fibres deserve gentle handling. Drying: Dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight, to retain the richness of the colours. Ironing: Iron on a medium cotton setting while the saree is slightly damp, or use steam for the best finish. Storage: Fold neatly and store in a cool, dry place. Refold it occasionally to prevent permanent creases.
