Saree Story
Mine is a black that carries weight, dark and deliberate, the kind that has watched a hundred temple ceremonies and remembers every one. Down my length run pinstripes of mustard gold, straight and unwavering, like something drawn with a steady hand. Have you noticed how a border can carry a whole procession? Mine does, rows of temple spires in mustard and maroon, marching from one end to the other without breaking step. My weaver kept me simple where it mattered and detailed where it counted, no excess, only intention. Run your finger along my edge and feel the cream thread catching the light differently from the gold beside it. I am Kajal, mysterious as my name, with years of temple knowledge resting quietly in my weave.

Description
A pure handwoven Kanchipuram cotton in deep black, ruled through with mustard gold pinstripes running the length of the body. The border and pallu deepen into a rich mustard, worked in a dense temple motif with fine maroon and cream detailing.

Fabric
Pure handspun cotton, soft against the skin and light enough for everyday wear. The weave holds its shape through the day without losing the crispness that good cotton is known for, breathable in the warmth, easy to drape, and built to only get softer with every wash.

Care Instructions
First Wash: Dry clean for the first wash to preserve the finish and the zari or resham border. Thereafter: Hand wash separately in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods. Do Not: Use bleach, harsh detergents, or wring the saree aggressively, as fine-count cotton fibres deserve gentle handling. Drying: Dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight, to retain the richness of the colours. Ironing: Iron on a medium cotton setting while the saree is slightly damp, or use steam for the best finish. Storage: Fold neatly and store in a cool, dry place. Refold it occasionally to prevent permanent creases.
