Ishwari: Pure Silk Chanderi Saree
By Chanderi Master Weavers
Saree Story
I was born on a Chanderi loom, where silk is set so fine it learns to hold light rather than just catch it. Look at me straight on and I read as smoke grey. Tilt me toward a window and I turn the colour of dusk settling over water. Tiny gold butis rest across my body in an easy rhythm, gathering closer together as they near my border. My border runs gold, with one thin silver line keeping it honest. I was woven for the person who knows quiet can be the loudest kind of elegance.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
A pure silk Chanderi saree in a stunning canvas that moves between silver-grey and dusk blue as the light changes, true to Chanderi's tissue-weave character. Small gold zari butis, each finished with a fine red accent, are scattered across the body and placed more densely near the border. The pallu carries its own tone-on-tone striped weave with delicate woven motifs in gold. Finished with a rich gold zari border edged by a fine silver pinstripe.

ilk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
