Chulbuli Rani: Lightweight Kadhuwa Benarasi
By Naushad Ji
Saree Story
I am Chulbuli Rani, and I have never once sat still. My pink doesn't ask permission, it just shows up, bright and a little mischievous. My gold lotus buttas are scattered across me like they couldn't wait their turn, popping up wherever they pleased. My border is where I really let loose, a deep cascade of gold paisleys and florals, dense and dramatic, the part of me that refuses to be background. Everything above it plays it cool. That border does not. Wear me on a day you want to cause a little harmless trouble.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Chulbuli Rani takes her name from the Hindi for playful, restless, unable to sit still, and this pink earns it. The body is pure Banarasi silk, scattered with small gold lotus buttas on slender stems, light and understated against the colour beneath them. The border shifts the mood entirely, a deep cascading band of gold paisleys and florals, dense and richly worked, the clear centre of gravity on the drape. Playful, a little bold, built for the days you want colour that matches your mood rather than your outfit.

Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
