Anushka: Pure Kanchipuram Cotton Saree
By Kanchipuram Master Weavers
Saree Story
Red covers all of me, but look closer and you will find a grid of black holding it in place, kattam laid out with the same discipline from one end to the other. Have you noticed how a border can climb like flame reaching upward? Mine does, black peaks rising sharp against the red, each one taller and bolder than a simple line would ever be. My weaver kept the checks small and steady so the border would have room to make its statement. There is nothing quiet about where I end, only where I begin. I am Anushka, red at every thread, sharp at my edge.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description

Care Instructions
First Wash: Dry clean for the first wash to preserve the finish and the zari or resham border. Thereafter: Hand wash separately in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods. Do Not: Use bleach, harsh detergents, or wring the saree aggressively, as fine-count cotton fibres deserve gentle handling. Drying: Dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight, to retain the richness of the colours. Ironing: Iron on a medium cotton setting while the saree is slightly damp, or use steam for the best finish. Storage: Fold neatly and store in a cool, dry place. Refold it occasionally to prevent permanent creases.
