Anaar- Handwoven Assam Cotton
By Assam Weavers Nest
Saree Story
Mauve-brown holds quiet till the pallu blooms pink, kalka after kalka like pomegranate flowers against bare branch. Butis scatter loose, buds still finding their place. Tassels crowd pink at my hem. I am Anaar, woven for the ones who flower quietly and then all at once.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
An Assam handwoven cotton saree in mauve-brown. The pallu carries pink kalka motifs and dense floral panels in pink, framed by red diamond borders and a pink-yellow striped selvedge with a diamond trim. Scattered pink and yellow butis dot the body, closing in a pink tassel fringe.
