Tarulata: Sage Mist Handwoven Jamdani
By Phulia's Padma Shri Cluster
Saree Story
Tarulata's Story: In Phulia, I grew the way a vine grows, row after row of fern climbing steady and slow, each frond set by hand before the next began. Nobody rushed me. My spine of rose was laid thread by thread, the way a memory is laid down before it is called a memory. Beyond my border I let go a little, scattering pink hearted diamonds across sage mist, because not every part of a story needs telling in full. I am Tarulata, a muslin so pure, it will hold your breath as much as your shape. Wear me on a day that asks for calm rather than ceremony, and let the tan at my edge be the only warmth you need.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Tarulata grows the way a creeper grows, unhurried and certain of its own direction. Across a sage mist ground, ivory fern fronds climb in even rows, each one held together by a thread of dusky rose running through its spine. Beyond the border, the field opens into small diamond buttis, pink centred and evenly spaced, scattered like light breaking through leaves. A tan striped pallu closes the piece, warm against the cool green of the body. Pure cotton muslin, fine enough to move like air, woven on the looms of Phulia. Easy to drape, easy to live in, made for the hours between morning and everything after. One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
