Shweta: Ivory Vairaoosi Kanjeevaram, Kili Butta
By Kanchipuram Master Weavers
Saree Story
They named me Shweta, for the white that holds everything and hides nothing, pure without ever being plain. I am ivory, the colour of something kept carefully for years, never fading, only settling. Along my edge and again on my pallu, kili perch in gold, old-fashioned and unhurried, the kind of motif that was never meant to shout. My border does not reach for a different colour, it deepens instead, self-tone rising into its own quiet pattern. Then comes my coral, thin as a whisper but loud in effect, the line that takes me from effortlessly gorgeous to dazzling brilliance. I am proof that restraint can still be rich, and one small colour can change everything.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
A pure Kanjeevaram silk saree in soft ivory, finished with a fine self-tone rib weave and a border of vintage-style kili (parrot) buttas in gold zari. The self-coloured border rises into a dense woven pattern, and the pallu carries the same kili motif in a delicate row of gold. A slim coral trim runs along the edge, lifting the saree from effortlessly gorgeous to dazzling brilliance.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
