Gajagamini: Wine Kanjeevaram, Magenta Reta Pett Border
By Kanchipuram Master Weavers
Saree Story
They named me for the walk of an elephant, unhurried and certain of every step. My body is wine left to deepen in the dark, dotted with small gold coins I have kept for no reason but that they catch the light. At my border, colour changes its mind entirely, wine giving way to magenta with no warning and no apology. A line of elephants processes along my edge, the same slow certainty I was named for. My reta pett lattice repeats itself the way a chant does, once for meaning, again for memory, again to make sure it was heard. I move the way something steeped in tradition moves, without needing to hurry.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
