Dipshika: Flame Orange Matka Jamdani
By Phulia's Padma Shri Cluster
Saree Story
My muse saw my reflection in the evening lamp lit at the temple altar, and called me Dipshikha. That's exactly how my colour sits, radiant but ethereal, never quite still. I don't flicker for attention. I hold my glow the way a flame holds a room quiet without saying a word. My swans have long stopped minding the heat beside them, they've learned to stand still in light. Wear me on the day you want to be someone's reason to look twice.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Dipshikha carries her own light, orange deepening into rust the way a flame does at its edges, brightest where it meets air, warmest where it holds steady. Across her field, lotus blooms rise on slender stems, and a pair of swans stand among them, unbothered, the way still water holds a flame's reflection without disturbing it. Grand visuals, warm to the eye before it's warm to the touch. Pure matka silk, spun from pierced mulberry cocoons rather than reeled thread, which is why she carries that slight, honest slub across her surface instead of a polished shine. No pretence to be smoother than who she is. She holds texture the way raw things do, with the kind of body that keeps each petal exactly where it was placed. One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
