Aparajita: Deep Violet Coin Matka Silk
By Phulia's Padma Shri Cluster
Saree Story
They named me for a flower that means undefeated, and I understood why the moment I saw my own colour. My violet holds its ground, deep and certain, gold scattered across me like something earned. I glow steadily, regardless of the light around me. Call me Aparajita. wear me on days you plan to conquer something, or someone.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Aparajita takes her name from the flower that shares her exact shade, a violet so deep it holds its own light. Small gold coins scatter across her body, catching brightness in flashes, while a striped pallu in the same violet completes her with quiet confidence. The small round gold coin buttis are woven in the jamdani extra-weft technique, scattered across the body, with a striped violet pallu border. Pure matka silk, spun from pierced cocoons, gives this colour real depth, rich and constant under any light. One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
