Aarya: Royal Bluet Coin Matka Silk
By Phulia's Padma Shri Cluster
Saree Story
That one understated saree that everyone noticed when she wore it, that was the inspiration behind my creation. That's the only lesson she kept when she created me and named me Aarya. My blue doesn't perform, it simply sits, deep and unmoved, gold scattered across me the way heirloom jewellery does. No explanation required. Some things don't need an entrance. They only need to be worn well. Wear me like you already belong wherever you're standing.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Aarya wears her blue the way nobility wears its bloodline, quietly, without needing to announce it. Small gold coins sit across her in even rows, understated until the light catches them, while a striped border in the same deep blue closes her with the same unshowy confidence. Royalty is never about volume, it is about presence, and she has plenty of that. The small round gold coin buttis are woven in the jamdani extra-weft technique, scattered across the body, with a striped blue pallu border. Pure matka silk, spun from pierced cocoons, gives this blue real weight, rich and grounded rather than bright. One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
