Marjaani: Pure Silk Kadhuwa Banarasi
By Naushad Ji
Saree Story
I am Marjaani, and I know exactly what I'm doing. My green is deep enough to stop a room, and I've never once apologised for it. Small gold bouquets bloom across me, delicate sprays gathered at the stem, scattered like they know they're being looked at. My border drops all pretence of subtlety, a dense cascade of gold florals and vines running thick along my edge. My pallu goes quieter, a fine gold trellis glowing steady, the calm after I've already made my point. I don't ask for a second look. I already know I'll get one.
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Marjaani takes her name from the Hindi for the captivating, coquettish one, and this deep emerald Banarasi carries exactly that confidence. Small gold bouquets are scattered across the body, delicate floral sprays gathered at the stem, spaced evenly against the rich green ground. The border carries a dense band of gold florals and vines, bold and detailed along the edge. The pallu shifts into a fine gold diamond trellis, glowing and disciplined, a quieter but equally detailed counterpart to the border. Deep, playful, built for the days you want a saree with a little mischief in its colour.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
